"Hey Bartender! Can you grab my friend and I another Drink?" My name is Stu... I'm not sure why I'm writing this little something, but here goes... I'm here to talk about this Chapa Fellow... You see, I met this guy one night at my neighborhood bar... He walks in looking like he just lost his dog or something... So I scoot over and let the Man sit down next to me... "Hey there young man, my name is Stu... And you look like shit." Most people never get my sense of humor, but... "Hey Stu, my name is Chapa... And I feel like shit." I guess you get my point... I liked the boy right off the bat...
So I asks him, what seems to be the problem? You never can tell about someone until you look in their eyes... At least I can't... I must admit, this Chapa fellow was very troubled... His eyes were old and uneasy... I knew the look all too well... So I asks him, "Times are rough, are they?" "Well, life's funny that way Son... Most people walk this earth and never know what they want to do with their lives... But you my friend, I can tell, do know what you want..." I could... It was obvious... Well, I then began to lecture... I can't help it, the Boy needed some Fatherly Advice...
"It appears to me that you are having issues with your surroundings, or the people in the surroundings... Am I right?" "Take it in stride Chapa... Things happen for a reason, and you have no control over that Reason... It just does." I know, that's is little vague... But his eyes began to light up... I sparked something in the Boy... Something awoke and he discovered a message hidden beneathe the smell of Guiness...
"Hey Bartender, how bout another round my new friend and I... You know Stu, I'm always here for everyone, but in the process, I've forgotten why I'm here at all." C
I understood exactly what he was talking about... "Chapa... There are 2 kinds of people on this earth, Givers and Takers... Which one are you." He pondered this for a second... "A Giver!" I thought so... "You see, a Giver is someone who will always be there for the people they care about, and at times, for people they have never even met." A smile creeped over the boy as if he could relate... "And then there's the Takers... These folks will let others take care of them with no worries at all... It doesn't make them bad people... Just like being a Giver doesn't make you a Good person... It just is." The point I wanted to make, is that we all are both Givers and Takers... You have to find that happy place where you can enjoy the Ride... "The Ride?" "Interesting choice of word, thanks Stu." "No problem Chapa... I think I'm going to go over and talk to that young lady now... Remember though... Take this message and pass it on down... One day you'll be the one who knows."
I'm out of here now... I'm not sure if this was worth the time to share this little story, but if you have read this far, well then who knows... This is Stu's View... And I'm Stu... "Catch you next time... Hey Bartender, could you grab me another round for myself and what ever this beautiful creature so desires."
