DEMITRIS VIEW
Well Hello… My name is Demitri Escobar… I’m a music producer and self Proclaimed “Healer of the Soul.” You could say that I’m old friend, dear friend’s of Chapa… Yes, yes, you can… And I’m here to share a little about our friend from the Central Valleys of Texas, and how I came to know him...

Chapa’s a good man… I first met the boy over the phone… You see, he use to play in this band back in Texas called
OJO… Very original and distinct… Unlike anything I had ever heard before to that point… The boys in OJO were creating a buzz around the internet and soon came to my attention… But I was too late… They ended splitting up and heading into different directions… And this is where I came in… I called and spoke to Senior Chapa on the phone, like I said… And what I found was a genuine person, true to his heart… A foolish heart at times, but true nonetheless...

Over a period of about 3 months, I spoke frequently with Chapa about music, life, women, and sports… I must admit, Chapa’s music was a little tough to digest at first, but once I got past the initial wave of sound, I found a true artist waiting to be discovered… I thought to myself, “People should know about this kid.” “He’s got talent with something worthy to say.” I began to understand the madness that drives an artist to follow their dreams, no matter where it may lead… Old Soul… That’s the best way to describe the feeling that I got when I first heard the demos for his new album, A Buyer’s Ride… I knew I had to be apart of it… So I packed up and headed out West… To The Land of No Rising Sun… Los Angeles, California...

Oh yea, did I mention that Chapa had moved to LA? Well he did, and now, I too live in LA… So there you have it… A short story of how I came to know and work with Senior Chapa… There’s more of course… There’s always more… But I’ll leave you with this… “Keep your eyes open for what’s next… And don’t be surprised if you hear this name being called out loud, CHAPA…"
