ALBERT R CHEMIST
“A Man from No Boundaries. Yep!!! That S.O.B. has a gold plated Heart wrapped with clear plastic wrap that had been soaked in water overnight… You know what I mean? True, but demented none the less… You gotta love him.” LL

Albert R. Chemist, born to Jack and Diane Chemist somewhere before 1980 and after 1960... He lived back East in Rhode Island up until the age of 9 years old... Then Jack got transferred to the great state of Texas… And this is where the young Albert cut his teeth at being a Man… A weird kind of folk with curious behaviors he was… I suppose quite a few folk felt this way, but not me… I found A.R., as I would call him, a rather eccentric, classic kind of fellow… A ‘Not much to say, unless it needs saying’ kind of guy… You see, Albert’s up bringing was strict… Father Jack, as the neighborhood kids referred to him, was a strong, hard working man with unbendable convictions in the Lord of Mighty…

“With out the Lord Son, what do you really have? But a Mind full of heartache, and a Heart full of last year’s headaches. Now go and get the paper. And be quick about it.” J. C.

Old Jack was a good man through and through… Him and Diane showered their kids with love… Albert, the oldest sibling of 3, had 2 younger sisters that were the prizes of the house… Christina and Zoe… A handful, to say the least… Life for the Chemist kids was beautiful… And then there was the music… The second love in the home, only to the Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ of course…

Jack and Diane blessed their kids with their love of Song… Jack would play the guitar, Diane would sit at the Piano, and the kids would sing along… “A family that plays together, stays together.” A.R. picked up the guitar at a very early age… He took to the guitar, like a fish takes to water… A natural talent with a superb ear for music… But he tended to walk the edges of reality… Maybe it was the proper home training, or maybe it was the contempt for the normal way of life, A.R., found a way to stay comfortable in life with very little… A man with true blessings…

Young Albert began his musical career playing rhythm guitar with some local school kids… They called themselves Spiral Serpents… Which they ended up changing to simply, The Serpents… A garage band with much more to offer than the average bands in the neighborhood… They stuck out because they could actually play complete songs… And they did a rather convincing version of Gun’s and Roses’, Paradise Road… Well, it was rather convincing for the 8th graders that would frequent their jam room…

After a couple of years working with The Serpent’s, A.R., set out on his own to form a band of his choosing… So he formed Uncle Sid his Junior year in high school… With a couple of players from some other bands, they set out to conquer the world… But like most of the situations that Albert had come across at the time, things just fell apart… But not before he put a stamp on the music scene…

A.R. found his sound somewhere deep down inside… His distinction soon became the talk of the town… Before too long, his reputation as the most original guitarist was putting him in very nice places… Then one day, he ran across a young man with a Guitar in one hand and a Recipe for chocolate in the other... "What's on the paper, a song?" said A.R... "Nope, it's my grandmother's secret recipe for Chocolate," said the young man... So began the colaboration of Albert R. Chemist and Chapa that would last many, many years... And the Chocolate would soon become the major fusion for an explosive sound... The Evil Eye...
